We’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for reaching out to us, the Aldea Tonatzin team.
We are sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell or that you are experiencing a delay.
Please understand that this is not a typical tourist activity; it is a profound tradition passed down through generations. We are honored to share a deeply sacred ancestral healing ceremony, specially curated for you. This is a genuine immersion into our cultural heritage, carried out with respect, intention, and careful preparation.
We kindly ask you to consider the nature of this experience when approaching our cancellation policies. We ask for the same understanding you would have when booking a ticket for a concert, special performance, or exclusive event. If you were unable to attend due to illness, a missed flight, or another personal circumstance, you would generally understand that the event proceeded, the preparations were made, and your absence does not negate the commitments and costs already incurred.
We are a small collective operating with a deep responsibility to honor and protect our ancestral ceremonies, the individuals who carry these traditions, and our commitment to responsible and respectful tourism.
Therefore, we want to be unequivocally clear about our cancellation and rescheduling policy:
We do not offer refunds for cancellations and we do not provide rescheduling, regardless of the reason, including illness, travel disruptions, delayed or missed flights, personal circumstances, or any other unforeseen situation.
Why do we have a 24-hour cancellation policy?
Once a reservation is confirmed, a series of commitments and non-reversible preparations are immediately set in motion, including:
- Securing our guides, shamans, and hosts exclusively for your group.
- Making advance and, in many cases, non-refundable payments to our team.
- Purchasing and preparing the necessary ceremonial materials.
- Organizing transportation and other logistical arrangements.
- Covering commissions and other costs associated with processing the reservation.
For these reasons, cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled experience are not eligible for a refund.
Changes, modifications & direct arrangements
Any change, modification, cancellation request, or alternative arrangement made directly with our team outside the original booking terms and conditions will be considered a voluntary modification of the reservation.
If an alternative date or rescheduling arrangement is expressly agreed upon by both the guest and Aldea Tonatzin, that new date shall be considered final and binding. Once such an arrangement has been mutually confirmed, any subsequent cancellation, modification, change of date, or request for a refund will not be eligible for a refund or cancellation, regardless of the amount of notice provided.
By requesting, accepting, or mutually agreeing to any modification or rescheduling arrangement, the guest acknowledges and accepts these conditions.
This policy ensures consistency and fairness for all guests while allowing our small team to make the necessary commitments and preparations with certainty.
Rescheduling
We generally do not offer rescheduling. Any exception must be expressly agreed upon by both parties in writing. If a rescheduling exception is granted and a new date is mutually confirmed, the new reservation becomes final and is subject to the conditions stated above.
All reservations are subject to the Terms & Conditions published on our official website, which form an integral part of the booking agreement. By completing a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review and accept these terms.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and respect for the time, preparation, people, and ancestral tradition involved in creating this experience.
Our intention is not simply to offer an activity, but to preserve and respectfully share a living cultural tradition. We therefore ask that all guests make their reservations with full awareness and commitment to these terms.
